STUDIO2 is a 165sqm rehearsal and workshop space for the performing arts in Berlin’s Kunstquartier Bethanien. The studio offers aspiring artists in particular an opportunity for experimentation and research through rehearsals, workshops, and presentations of their work. In addition to hourly use, usage over several days is also possible for longer phases of research.

By combining artistic research and practice, Studio2 offers the opportunity to consider and discuss theatrical approaches in the context of engaging with theatre theory, technology and archival practice.

In courses and laboratories, the intensive study of specific themes and methodological approaches to movement in dance and theatre is possible. These formats are open to beginners as well as to professionals.
