The translators participating in the 25th International Workshop "Translating Theater" have been selected.
The participants are:
Maria Bosom (Spain), Sofiane Boussahel (France), María Fernández-Aragón (Mexico), Takuya Maehara (Japan), Anja Naglič (Slovenia), Katerina Shekutkovska (North Macedonia), Mei Wei (China), Yao Ye (China), Tatiana Zborovskaya (Russia), Deng Zhang (China).
The workshop will take place from May 17 - 26, 2024 in Mülheim an der Ruhr and stands for the close connection between practical translation work and the examination of current theater, staging and writing practice in German-speaking countries. The focus is on the translators' concrete work on texts from the festival selection, attending the performances together and discussing the versions of the invited productions.
